Lali Espósito school's surprise debut with Tini Stoessel and Marilina Bertoldi, who turned Madonna's Like a Virgin into a shared moment at River Plate.
La fantasía erasimple, visual y difficult to ignore, but its realization depended on whether Tini could interrupt a tour and make it to Buenos Aires.
Laxknew the singer's schedule was the first obstacle. Stoessel was in the middle of her Futttura tour, so Lali did not know if she was in Argentina or whether she would be able to attend. The decision came quickly: she sent a message to Tini and Marilina Bertoldi and asked them directly whether they wanted to be part of the idea, warning them that if they declined she would never call them again.
Así, una chance extravagant became a real scene: three women shared the same stage and turned a personal joke into a performance that had never happened before.
Espósito and Stoessel se casan este año, and that coincidence gave the song a special meaning. Lali recalled that the joke of two brides singing an iconic song became a reason to be present, almost a personal sign that Tini had to be there.
Marilina Bertoldi also had a place in the scene, not as a decoration but as a representative of Argentine rock. Lali described her as her favorite Argentine rock artist currently active and explained that she appeared in the tableau with her guitar. The three performers then sang Like a Virgin together for the first time, and also included 1 Amor in the shared repertoire of the night.
Behind the image was a broader reflection about the relationship between Espósito and Stoessel. Despite years of parallel careers in Argentine pop, they had never performed together, and both had long been placed in a competitive frame. For Lali, sharing the stage offered a way to show that, in daily life, artists can also be colleagues, get along and make music together. The gesture did not erase the rivalry that had accompanied them, but it offered a more human reading of a relationship often reduced to comparison.
The River Plate concert is now remembered not only for Lali Espósito's last show at the stadium, but also for an unexpected meeting between artists who had followed similar paths without sharing the same stage. The image of the two singers as brides, accompanied by Marilina Bertoldi and framed by a Madonna song, concentrated the show's emotional charge: a playful idea, a professional collaboration and a gesture of closeness between performers who had spent years being read against one another.
